SPEECH GAMES AS A METHOD FOR DEVELOPING VERBAL COMMUNICATION IN JUNIOR SCHOOLCHILDREN WITH AUTISM

Abstract

This article provides a theoretical analysis on the problem of development of verbal communication in autistic children of primary school age. Systematization, analysis and generalization of scientific data on the use of speech games as a way to develop verbal communication in primary schoolchildren with autism were carried out. In particular, the authors cover some features of communicative activity, moral instruction and education of children with autism, as well as the most effective ways of organizing correctional and developmental work with these children using speech games. The data presented in the article can be used to plan correctional and developmental work with primary schoolchildren with autism aimed at development of their verbal communication.
