Abstract

The purpose of the article is to show the philosophical aspects of the methodology of modern mass education, their advantages and disadvantages, their impact on the processes of globalization and on the overall development of modern civilization. The article considers general methodological approaches to the organization and functioning of educational systems; some peculiar philosophical aspects of modern education; the phenomenon of pluralism in worldview, science, education and culture; its post modernistic interpretation, typical of the philosophy of modern education. The authors claim that education system in any country in order to preserve cultural diversity and development of modern civilization should initially be designed to broadcast integral hierarchically structured images of the world. Contrary to this task, postmodern philosophy is aimed at reducing the ordered diversity of knowledge to conceptual chaos, as a result of which the results of its introduction into the educational systems of the world do not allow solving the main tasks of education: reproduction of society and social relations; development of personality and social systems; ensuring their stability and safety. Under the influence of the philosophy of separatism, in most educational systems undergo transition from education itself as a system of translating integral images of reality to a system of vocational training that excludes the integral development of a person in an educational environment and reduces the main goal of education to acquiring skills – the so-called competencies. Such a goal does not allow students to achieve a balance in the trinitarian structure of knowledge “knowledge – experience – understanding”. At the same time, a person turns into a being who does not understand the essence of what is happening. This problem is solved only by the philosophy of interconnectedness, on the basis of which institutions of integral education are created all over the world.
